Horizen (ZEN)

Horizen launched in 2017 as a fair, non-ICO privacy platform using zero-knowledge proofs and trusted execution environments. The project recently shifted to Horizen 2.0, a Layer 3 appchain on Base that inherits Ethereum's security while adding application-level integrity guarantees. Built for privacy-first applications across the web, it combines rollup security with modular architecture for composability.
